In view of the dimension of the catastrophe that hit Japan, in this difficult moment of loss and grief, we convey the heartfelt condolences and profound solidarity of the Portuguese communists to the Japanese people, workers and population, hoping that their suffering may be minimised and that the current hardship may be overcome in the best possible way.
