Here we are, in Évora, city of April, a World Heritage Site, by the hand and work of elected members of the PCP and CDU, a city symbol of municipal management based on Work, Honesty and Competence, whose index of development and response to citizens' needs make us proud.

1. The country is faced with the consequences of decades of right-wing policies, which deepened injustices, inequalities and exploitation, as well as structural deficits in the productive, technological, energy and demographic fields.

We need measures to counter increases in fuel price

The successive increases in fuel prices are a matter of great concern for most of the Portuguese and, due to the impacts they have on the entire economy, call into question the need for recovery considering the situation that the country is still facing.
The PCP considers it is essential to take urgent measures to counter these price increases, combining the fight against price speculation with fiscal measures.
