On hearing the news of the arrest of comrade Salah Samaraeb and the worsening of the repressive measures against the popular movement in Sudan, the PCP expresses its firm condemnation of these actions and its solidarity with the struggle carried out by the Sudanese communists.

The PCP demands an immediate end to the repression and the release of the political prisoners and reiterates its solidarity with the Communist Party of Sudan and the struggle of the Sudanese people in defence of their sovereignty, freedom, peace and social progress.
