The Trump Administration decided recently to re-include Cuba in the arbitrary list of countries whom they accuse of not fully cooperating with the US in their "anti-terrorism" efforts. This represents a vile slander and an act of deep hypocrisy, when the US are the main promoters of State Terrorism in Latin America and the world, and support – openly or covertly – terrorist groups and methods to achieve political and economic objectives.
Vehemently rejecting the decision announced by the US State Department – whose assumptions constitute in themselves an insult to Cuba, the Cuban people and all who defend peace, sovereignty, cooperation and solidarity in international relations –, PCP reiterates its condemnation of the US policy of intensifying the aggression and blockade against Cuba and the Cuban people.
Reaffirming the demand to end the economic, commercial and financial blockade that US imperialism has imposed upon Cuba for almost 60 years, and the end to the Trump Administration's spiral of aggression and intervention against the peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean, PCP reaffirms its solidarity with the Cuban Revolution and Cuban people, and the struggle for sovereignty and social emancipation in Latin America and the Carribbean.
