The danger of a catastrophic conflict is currently real. By learning from some of the main responsible of the greatest imperialist power’s statements foreign policy. Zbigniew Brzezinski, USA ‘s ex-National Security Counsellor published in the Financial Times (2015.10.04) an article that begins: “ We all are aware of how World War I begun.[…] There is time to avoid a painful repetition, this time emerging in the Middle East, more specifically in Syria”. Why this reference on a conflict between the two greatest nuclear powers in the planet? Brzezinski writes: “ Moscow chose to intervene militarily[in Syria], but without any political or tactic cooperation with the USA – the most important foreign power indulged in direct efforts, although not very efficient, in order to throw down Assad [the Syrian president]. By doing it, it allegedly launched a number of attacks against Syrian elements supported, trained and equipped by Americans, provoking damages and casualties”. Brzezinski, in one sentence, confesses that the USA are the main power responsible for the war in Syria ( and for the wave of refugees it has provoked); and are supporting, training and arming Jihadists; and the USA and not the government of Syria, ought to administrate the country. And Brzezinski advances: “ The USA holds but an option, if they intend to protect their vast interests in the region: to demand Moscow to stop and give up military actions which directly affect the American agents [“ assets”] , any kind of repetition of the occurrence ought to produce a prompt retaliation from the USA”. In short words: do not dare touch our Jihadists, nor interfere in our aggression and change of regime operations. Following Al Capone ‘s steps, he adverts: “ The Russian naval and air presence in Syria is vulnerable, geographically isolated from the country. It might be “dismantled” if insisting in provoking the USA”. The threat was repeated by the USA minister of Defence ( a country that is bombing Syria currently, but – unlike the Russians – by disregard of the government of Syria). Ashton Carter, during a press conference upon a NATO conference in Brussels ( 2015.10.08), stated: “ [the Russians] shot cruse missiles from a ship in the Caspian Sea, with no prior notice. They approached, by some kms [!] one of our drone planes. A land conjoint offensive was initiated with the government of Syria, shattering the façade they were eventually there to fight ISIS[?!?]. The consequences for Russia, that precisely bears an attack against its own country. And I also hope that shortly Russia begins suffering casualties within Syria”. For those who are wise…
Imperialist arrogance is unlimited. Ashton Carter confessed (in the Washington Post, 2002.10.20) that, whilst Clinton’s vice-minister of Defence,he spent “ a good part of 1994 first semester” preparing a military attack against a North-Korea nuclear station. And Brzezinski is the global Jihadist political father, as he stated during an interview to the Nouvel Observateur ( 1998.01.15) when, he boasted : “ According to the story’s official version, the CIA ‘s aid to the mujahidin, begun in 1980, that is, upon the Soviet army having invaded Afghanistan, in December 24th, 1979. But the truth, kept as a secret up to the present, is different: it was in reality, in July 3rd, 1979, when president Carter signed down the first directive on underground aid to the opponents of the pro-Soviet regime in Kabul”. Thirty six years upon creating the fundamentalist monster, and 24 upon the end of the USSR, the USA carry on killing within Afghanistan ( Doctors without Boarders hospital has been bombed, incinerating all the medical staff). And imperialist Jihadism spreads, as horsemen of the Apocalypse, throughout the Middle East. And the godfathers fury threatens those who dare cross their way.
