PCP sends messages of congratulations to the Communist Party of Venezuela and to the United Socialist Party of Venezuela
The Secretariat of the PCP's Central Committee has conveyed to the Communist Party of Venezuela and to the United Socialist Party of Venezuela messages of greetings for the victory in the April 14 Presidential elections. In those messages, it is stated that, in the present circumstances and confronting all the difficulties and the powerful campaign that is waged by the right-wing forces allied to imperialism, this electoral victory is of crucial significance for the Bolivarian Revolution, and impacts the struggle of the workers and peoples far beyond the borders of Venezuela, confirming the legacy of Comandante Chavez. At the same time, the messages denounce the dangerous maneouvres of the sectors aligned with imperialism, in an attempt to conceal the new defeat which they have suffered, and demand respect for the will expressed by the Venezuelan people.
