The PCP strongly condemns the attack on the Consulate General of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Lisbon and urges the competent Portuguese authorities to investigate and hold the perpetrators responsible.

This is an unacceptable act that cannot fail to be seen in the light of the practice of terrorist violence that Bolivarian Venezuela has suffered over the years.

The PCP calls for solidarity with Bolivarian Venezuela and with the struggle of the Venezuelan people to defend peace, their sovereignty and the right to decide their path of development and social progress free from external interference and aggression.
