The PCP condemns the terrorist attack on the life of President Nicolas Maduro and other high-ranking leaders of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, carried out in Caracas on August 4, during the celebrations of the 81st. anniversary of the creation of the Bolivarian National Guard.

The PCP considers that such an act is inseparable from the ongoing campaign of destabilization and interference against Venezuela, which is carried out by the reactionary forces and by imperialism and is seriously affecting the living conditions of the people.

The PCP expresses its solidarity with President Nicolas Maduro, with the legitimate Bolivarian government and the Venezuelan revolutionary and progressive forces that persist in defending the Bolivarian Revolution and the sovereignty of Venezuela.
