A clarifying phone call was practically silenced by the regime’s media, an equally informative fact. The recording of a phone call between Urmas Paet, the foreign minister and Catherine Ashton, the EU high commissionaire for the foreign and security Affairs, was placed in the You Tube, at the beginning of March, at the coup d’état’s aftermath, in Kiev, which threw down Ianukovitch, the Ukraine president elect. There are no doubts on the recording authenticity: confirmed by the Esthonian foreign minister. Paet reports to Mrs.Ashton what Olga Bogomolets, the medical support leader in “Maidan” Independence Square for the demonstrators, had told him, in Kiev, where dozens of people were killed by snipers.
According to Estonia’s foreign minister “ what is disturbing is that Olga has told me that all the evidence points out to the fact that the people were killed by snipers - from both sides, police and demonstrators - were the victims of the very same snipers, who killed people on both sides. She showed me some photos, and stated that whilst being a doctor she was able to say the killings held the same origin, and used the same type of bullets, and what is really disturbing is that the new coalition does not want to proceed with an investigation of what really took place“. And Paet carries on, “ a stronger conviction that Ianukovitch was not behind the snipers, but instead, someone belonging to the new coalition”.
The Esthonian minister’s statements are clear. While all the “democratic” media tries to legitimate the coup d’état conducted by the Fascist shock troops, in Kiev’s streets, accusing president Ianukovitch to have blood on his hands, a EU minister, recently arrived in Kiev, told Mrs. Ashton that in Maidan Square there was “ a stronger conviction that”: the massacre was undergone by provocateurs. But Mrs. Ashton reacted just as the media: looking round the other side.The Esthonian minister’s information was not issued via EU. And when the Russian media called upon the attention for the recording, the EU off the record organ reacted: “ Ukraine: Estonia denies the delivered news in the Russian “media”( in Euronews, 2014.03.06). And one ought to read the news text in order to know that “ Estonia confirms the phone call’s authenticity”, denying the headline itself. The silence conspiracy on facts which question all the whole “official story”, in a case which consequences might lead Humanity unto a catastrophe, tells a lot about the EU and its nature.
A similar provocation is documented in images, of the days which preceded the coup d’état in Venezuela, in 2002: opposition snipers killed anti-Chavez demonstrators to immediately after, accuse the regime of repression. There exist strong signs that the very same occurred in Lithuania in 1991, Bosnia, Libya, Syria and other imperialism targeted countries. It is officially documented that in 1962, the USA’s highest military ranks sent the president a list of “ pretexts which might justify a military intervention in Cuba” ( “ Operation Northwoods”) amid other sordid provocations, it was proposed that the USA ought to unleash “ a terror campaign[…] close to Miami, in other Florida towns or even in Washington[…] aimed against Cuban refugees looking for shelter in the USA (in Avante, 2001. 12.28). Provocation holds an ancient history. And bellicose lies too. For imperialism’s leader circles, even its shock troops are cannon fodder.
And recently, another explosive phone call delivered in the You Tube, between the Turkish foreign minister and the country’s intelligence leader, which suggests the creation of a casus belli / war escalade with Syria, through a missile false attack against Turkey. Turkey is a NATO member. An occasional open war between the two countries ought to lead to NATO’s military intervention against Syria.
Historic reality ( distant in time and currently) proves the brutal manner capitalism is able to commit great crimes, lies and provocations, in its eagerness / endeavour to dominate peoples. But for those who are blind before reality, there is not sand enough.
