Whilst the International Peace Day was being celebrated last week-end, French aircrafts bombed Iraq, proceeding the announced military offensive, by the USA, in order to, allegedly, fight the so-called “ Islamic State”. Last Tuesday, the North-American and their allies‘ plans, in the region , became much clearer. The military action spread throughout the Syrian territory, as predictable. Supported by the Gulf’s dictatorships, NATO and Israel, the USA move forward, once again in history, unto a rough violation of international law and sovereignty, of a State, having no UN mandate, with the objective of masking its illegal action, holding a “ previous warning” to Syria through UN diplomatic channels. Meanwhile, Israel shoots down a Syrian plane, at the Golan Mountains, the latter under illegal occupation by Israel, giving a clear signal of what is in stake with this new Middle East war.
North-American imperialism “fills its mouth” with its campaign to fight against the vicious, barbarian and unstoppable “Islamic State” and the “radicals”. The “Jihadists” paranoia spreads throughout the world, having reached Portugal, hostage images circulate all over, the horrid beheadings scandalize the world’s public opinion. The “civilized” west declares war to terrorism and “barbarians”. All is but, a gigantic and hypocrite media campaign, with the purpose of giving a strategic coverage that has nothing to do with the defence of peoples’ rights. One, therefore, reports but two elements, which prove the hypocrisy and manipulation degree of such a strategy.
Firstly, the huge lies on the sudden concern on the “Islamic State” which, of nothing, became one of the greatest global threats. It is important to highlight that the ISIS appearance ( acronym of the Islamic State in Iraq and East , currently renamed “Islamic State”) is connected to two important factors: the USA’s instigation strategy to sectarian division between Sunnites and Shiites within Iraq and – as mostly important – the conspiring and interference manoeuvres against Syria, which resulted in the “Free Syrian Army”, and congregates mercenaries, agents and foreign soldiers, integrating or having integrated terrorist organizations, as the Al-Nusra Front and the ISIS. An “army” which had as one of its main “leader” Ibrahim al-Badri, the current well-known “caliph” Abu Bakr al-Bagdadi, the “Islamic State” “leader”. Al-Bagdadi’s liaisons to the Western and Turkish intelligence are mentioned in several reports, and if there were any doubts, the photo of a secret meeting between John McCain ( one of the North-American falcons) and Al-Bagdadi, in 2013, the then leader core of the Syrian Free Army, would dissipate them.
In other words, the USA currently proclaim to fight an organization, financed and armed by the USA itself, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey, their members having been trained in camps in Turkey and Jordan.
The second element is the speech round the committed atrocities by the “Islamic State”. But, here again, one finds lies and hypocrisy. The USA declare not to tolerate beheadings, but instead tolerate and support organizations which performed mass beheadings within Syria, introduced bombing terror and carried out authentic massacres. And on those crimes, not even a word is pronounced, as concerning the 600 killed children in Palestine during the 59 days, by Israel or the chaos which Libya is sunk in. As for what indeed moves the USA and its allies, is only but one purpose:
bend Syria’s resistance, by “ pushing” the “Islamic State” towards this country and therefore justify what was never achieved: install a direct war against Syria, divide this country and Iraq, and, at last, achieve the region’s domain within a situation of “under controlled chaos” situation.
