The recent developments on Syria’s situation prove that North-American imperialism carries on performing a brutal aggression war against the Arab Republic of Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, attempting to impose president Bashar al-Assad’s government stepping down. A criminal war, that faces a notable and heroic resistance from the Syrian patriotic forces, the people of Syria, for over five years.
How from the very first moment and systematically, several armed groups disobeyed the cease-fire, that begun on September 13th, the USA attack unto the Syrian Armed Forces, in Deir ez-Zor, in September 17th, the many set up provocations, the intense media war and the threat escalade against the Russian Federation that followed, exposed the American authorities double game, by consisting in declaring to fight terrorist groups in Syria, and effectively having used them, directly or indirectly supported and protected, called “Islamic State”, “Al-Nusra Front” or “ Jabhat Fatch al-Sham”, or any other temporary or convenient designation those groups ought to adopt.
As denounced, each cease-fire respected by the Syrian authorities has been used to re-arm the several armed groups, and to carry on with their terror action, including the perpetration of the most cruel crimes against the people of Syria.
The more the media campaign ought to be intense, the truth is that the USA and its allies – France, United Kingdom, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Israel, among others, carry on intervening in Syria, and instrumentalizing the several armed groups that created and supported, with the objective of divide and destroy the Syrian state – as in Iraq and Libya, along with the known dramatic consequences.
Currently, the greater reality they wish to impose, is deformed, nothing can hinder, the fact that the USA and its allies are responsible for all aggression wars against sovereign states. States that, by stating and defending their sovereignty and independence, represent, in some way, a contention factor towards the imposing of imperialism hegemonic power, namely North-American imperialism.
Within this framework, John Kirby, the North-American State Department spokesman’s statements, when last week, he threatened that” extremist groups” ought to carry on to explore existent vacuous in Syria, in order to expand their operations, that ought to include attacks against Russian interests, even Russian cities” and that “ Russia ought to carry on sending soldiers home in mortuary bags, and loosing recourses and even planes”.
Imperialism proves, not to easily give up its intent of destroying the Arab Republic of Syria – before its sovereign, multicultural, pan-Arab and anti-imperialist positioning- , but the firm resistance of the Syrian patriotic forces, along with the important support of their allies, and the solidarity contribution of peace and anti-imperialist forces, throughout the world, ought to find a set back. Syria’s obstinate resistance in the defence of its people, sovereignty and territorial integrity, demands, not the association or connivance with campaigns that have the purpose of whitening the aggression carried out by the USA and its allies, but solidarity of all those who defend the right to self-determination of peoples and peace.
