Beyond the necessary and firm condemnation, the Paris criminal carnage compels to withdraw political conclusions. It is intolerable that the very same political, economic and media forces, that multiplied words of indignation against the fundamentalist terrorism in Paris, proceed their criminal support, promotion, financing and armament of that very same fundamentalist terrorism, when targeting sovereign countries out of imperialism control, as it has happened in Syria or Libya. The chaos, destruction and death in Paris are sons of chaos, destruction and death which – in an incomparable greater escalade, and in result of direct or indirect imperialism aggressions – have destroyed whole countries and regions, generating a refugee wave, that currently, reaches Europe.
It is inadmissible that silence or connivance before the Beirut, Baghdad or Damascus terrorism acts – committed by the same forces that now pretend that terrorism has no patronage, have carried out massacres in Paris. It is inadmissible that one pretends terrorism has no patronage issued from the political power at the highest level of imperialist great powers and its most loyal allies. Patronage that uses terrorism as a weapon against countries and governments which do not accomplish orders. How can all this be denied, when patrons themselves confess? Zbigniew Brzezinski, the ex- counselor of the USA National Intelligence , demanded, during a famous interview to the Nouvel Observateur magazine (in 1998.01.15), the USA’s assistance for the Afghani fundamentalists, in 1979. He proudly explained that, contrarily to the “history official version” that support to the fundamentalist terrorism had not the purpose to attack the Soviet troops entry in Afghanistan ( which only took place later) but instead to “ attract them unto the Afghani trap”. That was certainly not the first nor the last time imperialism used terrorism. Far from that. There exists a guiding principle that links the “Gladio networks” terrorist attacks within Western Europe (namely in Italy), the Nicaragua “contras”, UNITA and Renamo, in Africa, the bombing network in Portugal, in 1975, the Al- Qaeda, the “Syrian rebels” and ISIS, not forgetting the Ukrainian fascist massacres. That guiding principle exists within imperialism supports, openly or hindered, its intelligence and military services, its agents and allies, both at a national or regional level.
The USA vice-president stated publically, in October 2014 last, that “ our allies” Turkey, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates “dumped hundreds of million dollars and tens of tons of weapons in the hands of those who were ready to fight against[ the president of Syria] Assad – but instead the receptors were the al-Nusra [Front] and Al-Qaeda, together with all elements belonging to the Jihadists, coming from all over the world.[…] What happened ? [..n] in this so-called ISIL organization, the Al-Qaeda in Iraq[…]. And in the end, we were unable to convince our allies to stop supplying them”. (in Washington Post, 2014.10.06).But the allies carried on and ISIS growing. Biden is a false naïve. As general Wesley Clark, the NATO troop commandant-in chief during the war against Yugoslavia, confessed to CNN (in 2015.02.18) that “ISIS was created through our friends and allies financing, as the people in the region say “ if we want people to fight to death against the Hezbollah[…] one seeks fanatics and gather religious fundamentalists - that is the way to do it – to fight the Hezbollah!” And that is how, in 24 hours , the South Beirut terrorist massacres took place ( 43 dead and 239 wounded) – striking civilians in the Hezbollah bastions – just as the Paris massacres.
It ought to be the final straw that imperialist powers, that nurtured the monster, use the Paris massacres, in order to justify a war escalade, by invoking the fight against ISIS. Precisely what occurred on September 11, with all visible current dramatic consequences.
