In times of great instability and uncertainty, before imperialism exploiter and aggressive offensive violence and the huge destructions and human dramas carried out in the Middle East, North Africa and other parts of the world; before fascism advance, in Ukraine and in other European countries; before the USA and the local oligarchies’ counter-offensive in Venezuela, Brazil and other Latin America countries; before the armament run involving a gigantic provocation, that represents the North-American missile systems installation along the Russian Federation boarders and China; before the dominant class permanent misinformation and ideological diversion action, all ought to represent a social and civilization setback, that threats the world and is unstoppable.

However, the truth is that workers and peoples resist and struggle for their interests and rights, and, although some debilities have not been overcome regarding the communist movement and the anti-imperialist front, many courageous sovereignty affirmations and liberating advances have taken place. This is what occurred within Latin America, in a progressive nature and anti-imperialist process, currently under reaction and imperialism fire, but resists. This is what happens in Syria, in battles that ought to be decisive for the region’s future. What represents the workers’ struggles, namely in Europe, against exploitation, Great Britain’s victory regarding the referendum on the European Union exit or even the important popular movements against the TIIP, provoking contradictions amid the dominant class in both sides of the Atlantic and creating serious difficulties for their conclusion.

The PCP thesis, that one lives in an international framework in which great dangers coexist, side-by-side with great progressive and revolutionary developments potentialities, is being proved everyday. Imperialism, that revealed an astonishing adaptation and recuperation capacity, is powerful and the most reactionary and aggressive sectors increase their bet in fascism and war, as means to intensify exploitation, plunder peoples resources, destroy productive forces in excess and re-establish, through violence, the appropriation surplus levels, that the inexorable maintenance of the law of tendency of lowering profit rate, constantly disturbs. But imperialism has no loose hands. It faces all continents’ workers and peoples resistance and struggle, the action of those states that do not accept the USA, its NATO allies and the G7 new totalitarian order the latter pretend to enforce, step on their own difficulties and contradictions ( sharply visible in an economic war, increasing among the great multinationals and capitalist powers), within a framework of a deeper and deeper structural crisis, confronting a cyclical crisis, that remains for eight years, and for which there is no solution.

Never as currently, the communist ideal and project were of such an important opportunity. Dangers and struggle hardship ought not to hinder this reality. And both, in moments of advance as in resistance and force accumulation, the most important regarding the communists confiding and persistent action, is having always in mind the Party’s supreme objective and the viability of its accomplishment as a historical inevitably, born from capitalism’s own contradictions and the demand of its revolutionary overcoming.
