The monopolist capital and its attendants celebrated the 20 years of the first German socialist State's liquidation and the reinstatement of capitalism within the ex-DDR, on the 3rd October. The socialism economic structures destruction and the wealth pillage, belonged to the whole Deutsche Democratic Republic's people, are generally presented as a monitored financial, exploiter and parasite oligarchy "revolution, in the possession of colossal fortunes, bank proprietors, great companies and economic groups.
But the 2010 celebrations are being disturbed by the revealing of documents from the " Federal Accounts Court", inaccessible up to the present, proving the decline of the East German economy, from 1990 onwards, was not due to socialism, as the capital has been propagating for two decades, but to the State's bank sector conducted by the west banks. The Deutsche Bank and the Dresdner Bank were the main beneficiaries of this prey act.
The 20 years "unification" banquet, which bankers, multimillionaires and the capitalism servile political class have just celebrated, was converted , for an important part of workers and the German people, into an unemployment and poverty calvary, social and labour rights liquidation, of antidemocratic setback and the absence of hope for a better life. The end of socialism in the DDR, and the capitalist reinstatement ended up by dragging the whole Germany unto a situation in which the citizens'political willpower became ignored and the great capital's non-elect and uncontrollable power, prevailed. Private banks and monopolies such as Siemens, Allianz or Mercedes, decide, without holding any democratic legitimacy, the destiny of millions of families.
If in 2003, the percentage of the population, living under the poverty line in the west side was 13%, in the East it attained 17,7%. While in the western factories 70% of the workers currently have definitive labour contracts ( an unthinkable situation up to 1990 ) in the East, the situation is much more dramatic with 45,5% working precariously or even with no contract. The time has come to reveal, that behind the so-called Germany's "unification" a real assault to the ex-DDR's goods and wealth, is a social regression process with no precedents in Europe's history, since 1945.
