The Aleppo battle outcome, with the liberation of part of the city’s East – formerly occupied by armed groups that spread terror and destruction throughout Syria, is an important defeat for the USA, the great EU powers and their allies in the region, such as Turkey, Israel and the Gulf dictatorships, highlighting Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

Syria and its people victory - and the consequent defeat of the plans it inserts -, is of a major importance as the dimension and intensity of the manipulation and misinformation immense and abject campaign monitored by the dominant media in order to hinder and misrepresent.

Once again, those who in the past were conniving and always were side-by-side with war, crying out false pretexts and using the most diverse duty “uniforms” (NGO, journalist, commentator, UN officer…), currently return to cynically present the aggressors as “attacked”, the oppressors as “victims”, armed groups that practise terror and are responsible for the most horrific crimes as “rebels”, the true responsible for the authentically humanitarian disaster within Syria, as if the considered to be philanthropist.

Before the possibility of a defeat and seeking to help their beastly mercenaries, initiatives coming from the USA, Great Britain, France, Germany , Italy and their procurators took place once again for a “cease-fire”, always used in order to kill the Syrian patriotic forces and retool the armed groups. The so-called “international community” “impotence” was called upon, shyly claiming for the direct armed USA, NATO intervention in Aleppo.

Although part of the occupied Aleppo territory does not represent the end of the aggression war imposed for almost six years against Syria and its people , it is an important draw-back considering this country’s fragmentation plans, the armed mercenaries groups having in Aleppo one of the major pillars.

But moreover, the Aleppo battle outcome represents in the first place, the obstinate resistance victory of a people before a barbarian destabilization and aggression operation unleashed by imperialism. Indeed, on the path of the Yugoslavia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen and so many other peoples and countries, along with and incommensurable number of crimes, death and destruction – that some , as accomplices, seek to hinder and forget.

One is aware that imperialism will not easily give up its intents. As an example the “ promises” coming from Saudi Arabia and Qatar on carrying on their support to armed mercenary groups and demanding the deposition of the Syria president. The admission coming from Erdogan of the real objective of the “entry” in Syria of Turkish troops, the stepping down of the legitimate government of a sovereign state – in the end, the unique and true intent of the destabilization and aggression unto Syria, continuously stated by the USA and its war partners, including NATO, in a clear act of aggression that violates the most fundamental rules of international law. However, Syria and its people struggle and fight in the defence of its state sovereignty and territorial integrity, with the important support of its allies, namely the Russian Federation.

On rejecting lies and not giving in to pressure manoeuvres, solidarity with Syria and its people ought to carry on – and the PCP is by its side.
